Analysis of the district court’s school finance ruling

Analysis of the 250^th District Court’s 2014 public education opinion shows not one performance measure considered by the District Court demonstrated that Texas school districts are fulfilling their task of educating children. The District Court’s opinion assumes more money is the cure for the failure of school districts to provide a good education, yet the Texas Supreme Court has ruled that additional funds are not the solution.
