A fierce debate has erupted across Texas as reports surfaced of inappropriate books and materials being found in school libraries, teachers subjecting students to unvetted racist lessons, and school officials attempting to silence parents voicing reasonable concerns.

To ensure a full and honest debate, the Texas Public Policy Foundation has collected news reports, social media posts, and otherwise public material exposing adult content, race-based lessons, and anti-parent activity going on in schools or being promoted by school officials.

Unfortunately, TPPF has found these reports come from every type of school district: urban, rural, suburban; all socioeconomic levels; and highly-, average-, and poorly-rated schools.

We will continue to update this list as reports are made.
