Autumn Hamit Patterson

Autumn Hamit Patterson is a senior attorney at the Texas Public Policy Foundation.

Before joining the Foundation, Autumn was an associate in the Issues and Appeals practice group at Jones Day, where she focused on appellate advocacy and motions practice.  Autumn began her career as a Solicitor General Fellow in the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Texas.  She also previously served as a law clerk for Justice Eva Guzman on the Supreme Court of Texas and Judge Andrew Oldham on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  In 2021 and 2022, Autumn was named one of “Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch” for appellate practice.
