Carson Clayton

Carson Clayton joined the Foundation in 2022 and serves as Campaign Director for Life:Powered, a national initiative at the Texas Public Policy Foundation to raise America’s energy IQ.

Prior to joining Life:Powered, Carson was Development Associate at the Foundation, responsible for processing gifts of all ranges from all over Texas. In addition to his general fundraising role, Carson assisted TPPF’s Right on Immigration and Secure and Sovereign Texas campaign development and provided supplementary research for its Texas history products. Prior to his time at TPPF, he was in charge of case analysis and investigations for a civil litigation law firm in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

A native Texan, Carson grew up in Lubbock and attended the University of Texas at Arlington. He has a dual bachelor’s degree in History and Anthropology.
