John Stauffer is a public policy analyst and Law Student at the Texas Tech University School of Law, expected to graduate with a Juris Doctor in May 2025. A member of the Journal of Energy Law Practitioner, John combines his expertise in law, finance, and health care to shape public policy at both state and federal levels.

John’s dedication to public service is rooted in his upbringing as the son of a naval general surgeon who transitioned into academia and rural medicine. This background instilled in him a deep appreciation for the impact of policy on community health and welfare.
