A Just Action
What to know: Ousted Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro ran a corrupt narco-state. He was first indicted on narcotics trafficking in 2020.
The TPPF take: The Trump administration’s actions in capturing Maduro were just and appropriate.
“The United States has set itself against not just a particular regime in Venezuela, but against a particular class of regime that has taken root across the hemisphere in this century,” says TPPF’s Joshua Treviño. “This is the estado de narco, the state-cartel alliance, in which a (nearly always leftist) regime forms a synthesis with cartels for the benefit of both. It characterizes Venezuela’s regime, and it characterizes the regimes in Cuba, Nicaragua, and Mexico as well.”

Treatment for Warriors
What to know: Veterans treatment courts are helping to get veterans back on track.
The TPPF take: Veteran offenders must not be allowed to fall through the cracks of the criminal justice system when their service experience contributed to their offense.
“Far too many of our nation’s veterans are encountering the criminal justice system due to service-related conditions,” says TPPF’s Maggie Horzempa. “States have taken different approaches with VTCs and have been assisted by limited federal programming, but it is time to harness best practices and standardize processes. Broad eligibility, cost sharing by federal, state, and local governments, and community-coordinated treatment/service options are essential to VTC success.”

Cold in Boston
What to know: It’s cold in Boston (one of the coldest cities in the U.S.), and Bostonians are now being told it might be due to climate change. We’re doomed!
The TPPF take: Even former climate cultist Bill Gates has now said he was wrong—climate change isn’t an “existential threat” to humanity.
“The catastrophist narrative is losing its grip, and more people are recognizing, as billionaire Bill Gates now does, what Life:Powered and our allies have been saying for many years,” says TPPF’s Cullen Neely. “Lifting people from poverty protects them from an always-changing climate better than any scheme to reduce carbon emissions.”
