The TPPF take: Fentanyl is an Everytown problem, and it’s only going to get worse until the southern U.S. border is secure.
“Successful drug interdiction campaigns target every level — the raw materials coming from abroad, the manufacturers, the traffickers and the dealers,” says TPPF’s Greg Sindelar. “We know where the raw materials are coming from; they’re coming from China, in the form of precursors. And we know where the counterfeit pills that are killing so many Americans are being manufactured — in Mexican pill mills.”

The TPPF take: Classical education can change lives.
“What classical education offers is stage-appropriate learning, big ideas and compelling material (not bland excerpts in a textbook),” says TPPF’s Roy Maynard. “Classical education comes in many forms—there’s Catholic classical education, there are Protestant classical schools, there are home schools, there are even public charter classical schools. What they share in common is a love for learning—and the true, the good and the beautiful.”

It’s a Start
What to know: New York University has settled a lawsuit brought by Jewish students for allowing unchecked anti-Semitism on the campus.
The TPPF take: NYU has pledged to take “groundbreaking measures to address antisemitism.” It should start by ditching DEI efforts.
“DEI offices and personnel have been colonizing college campuses for years,” says TPPF’s Sherry Sylvester. “Inclusion, the third component, is meant to ensure that everyone on campus feels welcome and safe. While this sounds unobjectionable, celebration and support for Hamas’ actions reveals that inclusion is selectively applied—specifically, if you’re Jewish, inclusion is not for you.”
