Failure at the Border
What to know: Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs says Vice President Kamala Harris refused to accept responsibility for the crisis at the border—a crisis created by her administration’s policies.
The TPPF take: Our broken border shows that Harris has failed families ravaged by fentanyl and communities beset by crime.
“By any metric, the Biden-Harris border record, with Harris at the helm, has been the worst in American history. The numbers speak for themselves,” says TPPF’s Greg Sindelar. “There have been 8,114,601 encounters at the southwest border under the Biden-Harris administration, excluding known and unknown ‘got-aways.’”

The Biden-Harris Economy
What to know: In Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate, U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance hit Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on the Biden-Harris economy, which has left families struggling.
The TPPF take: Harris’ economic policies are truly unburdened by reality.
“The fact of the matter is that inflation is caused by the big spending policies of the Biden-Harris Administration—too much money chasing too few goods,” says TPPF’s Robert Henneke. “And the amount of federal spending the Biden-Harris administration injected into the U.S. economy in the ironically named Inflation Reduction Act was massive.”

Electric Subsidies
What to know: Taxpayer-funded subsidies to try to convince Americans to buy electric vehicles will top $2 billion this year.
The TPPF take: Americans simply don’t want to be forced into electric vehicles.
“No matter how many subsidies and regulations the federal government pushes onto the market, consumers prefer gasoline’s convenience and reliability,” says TPPF’s Carson Clayton. “They are also waking up to the fact that EVs have not delivered on their highly anticipated environmental promise.”
