What to know: A former patient is suing a group of doctors for gender modification surgery they performed on her as a teenager. The patient says she was coerced into transitioning.
The TPPF take: This isn’t the first lawsuit over gender modification, and it won’t be the last.
“We’re going to have several million children who were transitioned in this country, whose lives were ruined,” said pediatric endocrinologist Dr. Quentin Van Meter, talking with The Cannon Online. “The lawsuits will be huge. Drug makers will be shut down by judgments. Because it’s wrong.”

Their Kind of Leader
What to know: The Hill describes President Joe Biden’s relationship with his Chinese counterpart as “complicated.”
The TPPF take: Many of the Biden administration’s recent actions will be very familiar to China and to Russia, which also target and jail their political opponents.
“Russian President Vladimir Putin and China’s leader Xi Jinping would both see the effort to use the government’s prosecutorial power against Trump as a standard tool in any dictator’s toolkit,” says TPPF’s Chuck DeVore. “As Lavrentiy Beria, Joseph Stalin’s secret police commissar said, ‘Show me the man, and I’ll show you the crime.’”

Criminal Cartels
What to know: Cartel gunmen took a group of 50 migrants hostage in Mexico; only nine have been found.
The TPPF take: Texas’ Operation Lone Star and barriers at the border are not the real danger facing migrants.
“No alien enters the U.S. between the ports of entry via the southwestern border without paying someone in Mexico,” says TPPF’s John Hostettler. “The effective takeover of large swaths of Mexico, including the south side of the U.S.-Mexico border, by transnational criminal organizations, or TCOs — otherwise known as cartels — has resulted in a related consensus: A sizable portion of those payments from migrants go directly or indirectly into the coffers of the TCOs.”
