Flocks are for Sheep
What to know: Across the country, Americans are pushing back on automated license plate readers such as the Flock Safety cameras that are appearing in communities.
The TPPF take: This is a high-tech assault on privacy.
“There is a stunning arsenal of these data-siphoning cameras across the nation, connecting all of those data points to generate a larger, far more invasive picture than a single snapshot in time,” says TPPF’s David Dunmoyer. “And this is precisely why there has been a well-documented cadre of police officers making use of this database to monitor their wives, exes, or random strangers.”

Real Masculinity
What to know: The Atlantic claims that American masculinity is a “fragile and precarious thing, shattered by the slightest deviation from ever-shifting norms—eating the wrong taco, tasting tofu, not eating meat, or maybe eating too much meat.”
The TPPF take: The Atlantic piece is a thinly veiled attack on the true enemy of his preferred progressive ideology: white American men.
“Open conflict, blunt disagreement, hierarchy, competition, risk-taking, reconciliation after conflict, individualism, adherence to formal rules, and the pursuit of a concrete task or external goal? Those are all no-go,” says TPPF’s Cameron Abrams. “In their place? Racial fellowships, gender scholarships, DEI statements, land acknowledgments — and an entire cultural ethos constructed around femininity.”

A Different List
What to know: On the heels of CNBC naming red states as the “worst places to live,” U.S. News & World Report has released its own list, and one of the reddest states, Utah, is at the top.
The TPPF take: Such lists really just show the biases of the list-makers.
“True livability is where families can afford a home, kids can grow up safe, parents can find work without endless mandates, and communities reflect shared values rather than top-down social engineering,” says TPPF’s Chuck DeVore. “Migration data, business expansion, family formation rates, and long-run income growth tell the story.”
