It’s Obvious

What to know: Most Americans believe that President Joe Biden’s mental decline is real.

The TPPF take: Biden’s mental state poses a threat to national security.

“The mental acuity of a nation’s leader plays a critical role in shaping and executing foreign policy – akin in many ways to a general leading an army,” says TPPF’s Chuck DeVore. “For example, Democrat President Woodrow Wilson’s presidency was marred by significant health issues that had profound impacts on his leadership and the country’s direction.”

Biden’s Border Debacle

What to know: The arrest of eight illegal immigrants with ties to the Middle Eastern terror group ISIS should wake Americans up to the Biden border crisis.

The TPPF take:  President Biden’s actions on the border have made the crisis worse, not better.

“By December 2020, the U.S. had the most secure border in the history of our nation, and a proven plan to continue improvements,” says TPPF’s Rodney Scott. “We had an overall decrease in entries and the highest level of situational awareness ever. But during the 2020 presidential campaigns, candidate Biden committed to ending the deterrence strategy and allowing more migrants into the country. Immediately following his inauguration, Biden fulfilled his campaign promise.”

Squatters

What to know: Squatters in New York City clashing with real residents have led to a double homicide. The alleged killer, an illegal immigrant, is still on the run.

The TPPF take: Squatters’ rights do not exist. Property rights do.

“Since January 2023, the media has reported on numerous squatting incidents across the Lone Star State: everywhere from the Metroplex, to the Bayou City, to the Panhandle, and beyond,” says TPPF’s James Quintero. “In response to the growing nationwide issue of squatting, legislatures in populous states are beginning to enact policy reform to stiffen penalties and prevent problems from emerging.”
