The TPPF take: At one of America’s worst points in its history, Americans rose to the occasion.

“The best of Americans went up those smoke-filled stairwells, knowing they may never come down,” says TPPF’s Kevin Roberts. “The best of America donned the uniforms of our armed forces and went abroad to confront our enemies. What I want my children and all future generations to know is that America’s founding premise was good and noble and that the best of America is yet to come.”

Uh Oh

What to know: They’re coming—the foot soldiers of Civilian Climate Corps.

The TPPF take: This is going to get annoying and expensive.

“Though the CCC is said to support such innocuous projects as solar panels and parks, it’s really a slush fund for progressive activism paid for by your tax dollars,” says TPPF’s Jason Isaac. “The CCC also plans to extend taxpayer dollars to ‘providing education on climate change,’ which is code for funding political activist groups like Greenpeace, the Sunrise Movement, and Movement for Black Lives.”

We’re In the Lead

What to know: According to a new report, Texas is now setting the conservative agenda.

The TPPF take: It’s all about economic freedom.

“Year after year, for more than two decades, the U.S. Census Bureau estimates, more Americans move out of California than move in—a net loss of 173,347 in the most recent period,” says TPPF’s Chuck DeVore. “A plurality of those leaving settle in Texas.”
