The Coverup that Keeps on Giving
What to know: More and more details are emerging about the extent of former President Joe Biden’s mental and physical decline. What’s even more clear is how hard the media worked to cover it up.
The TPPF take: The tapes of Biden’s deposition by Special Counsel Robert Hur have been released and Americans can actually hear just how disoriented the former president was.
“His sense of time, his focus, his grasp on reality—all demonstrated that Hur had been right when he said that although Biden had broken the law regarding classified documents, he was so feeble and forgetful that no jury would convict him,” says TPPF’s Sherry Sylvester. “The Hur tapes further validated the information in Tapper’s book about how the White House staff misled the public about Biden’s competence. The Joe Biden revealed on those tapes was the same Joe Biden who his advisors said was sharp as a tack.”

Dangerous Devices
What to know: Digital devices like smartphones and iPads can affect the developing brains of children just like drugs, a new report shows: “A small amount of exposure to screens releases dopamine, which triggers the feeling of pleasure without satisfaction. And an addict is formed.”
The TPPF take: Texas has a new law that can limit the harm done to children by Big Tech.
“The sad reality of the digital age is that moms and dads have been left on their own to fend off a tech-induced health crisis, contending against the allure of products engineered by the most powerful corporations in history to be maximally addictive to kids,” says TPPF’s David Dunmoyer. “That’s why Texas came up with a solution: the App Store Accountability Act, which enlists the app store providers, like Google and Apple, to help parents nip these issues in the bud.”

North Korea
What to know: North Korea says that President Donald Trump’s Golden Dome missile defense project could risk “space nuclear war.”
The TPPF take: Trump, like President Ronald Reagan before him, sees “mutually assured destruction” as a failed and immoral policy.
“The Golden Dome aims to shield the entire U.S. from advanced threats,” says TPPF’s Chuck DeVore. “As envisioned, the system includes space-based interceptors, sensors, and satellites. Trump wants to have the system fully operational by 2029, integrating next-generation technologies across land, sea, and space.”
