Whale Watching

What to know: National Geographic just can’t figure out why so many whales are washing up dead on the eastern seaboard, where offshore wind projects are under development.

The TPPF take: The Biden administration is killing whales to “save the planet.”

“The administration’s newest proposed permit is set to allow foreign offshore wind companies to kill 42 whales, more than 2,500 dolphins and nearly 1,500 seals by conducting yet another survey for wind turbines off the Jersey Shore,” says TPPF’s Jason Isaac. “The project, ironically named Atlantic Shores, is exactly where dead whales have already begun to wash up in correlation with a massive uptick in geological survey vessels mapping the ocean floor.”

Classical Education

What to know: Even lower-income students in New York City benefit from a classical education, City Journal reports.

The TPPF take: Classical education is booming in popularity right now—in New York City and beyond.

“Classical charter schools offer a distinct education rooted in the liberal arts and the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty,” says TPPF’s Erin Valdez. “That’s why it’s so popular. In Texas, Asian American and Hispanic students represent the fastest growing groups of classical charter students.”

ESG

What to know: Environmental, social and governance (ESG) rules are harming Americans—and their futures, as investors set aside their fiduciary duty to their customers.

The TPPF take: ESG is a scam.

“I work now to expose how environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing threatens our economic prosperity and, instead of improving our environment, enables China’s abysmal human rights and environmental records,” TPPF’s Jason Isaac testified before a U.S. House committee last week. “ESG has infiltrated our economy and been weaponized against essential industries all of us rely on, including, but not limited to, fossil fuels, agriculture, and forestry.”
