AUSTIN – Vikrant Reddy, Senior Policy Analyst with the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Center for Effective Justice, will present at the Texas Council of Community Centers’ 29th Annual Conference on Friday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. Central Time in Republic B of the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio. During the session, entitled “What’s Ahead in 84th Legislative Session in Criminal Justice and Mental Health,” Vikrant will preview legislation expected to be proposed in the 84th Legislative session that will deal with improving the treatment of mental health problems in the Texas criminal justice system.
