As of last night, the bulk of the Foundation’s proposals on Disciplinary Alternative Education Programs and overcriminalization of student behavior have passed the House. Chairman Jerry Madden brought the three main bills through without opposition, and accepted amendments that incorporate provisions from other bills. The bills now go over to the Senate, where we are working with senators to ensure quick passage.
