Remember this? In 2010, the Obama administration pledged to end homelessness in 10 years.

“The Obama administration on Tuesday unveiled an ambitious plan that aspires to end homelessness among some of society’s most vulnerable groups within the next decade,” McClatchy reported on June 22, 2010.

“’Opening Doors,’ a ‘Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness,’ calls for ending child and family homelessness in 10 years while wiping out chronic homelessness and homelessness among veterans in five years,” McClatchy explained.

Far from ending homelessness, the federal government’s programs have only watched the ranks of those experiencing homelessness increase.

Why? Because the Biden administration is carrying the Obama administration’s failures forward, as TPPF’s Michele Steeb explains here.
