Flakes, Not Steaks

What to know: Bidenomics has been such a disaster that cash-strapped Americans are now being encouraged to eat cereal for dinner in order to save money. “Cereal for dinner is more on trend now and we expect it to continue as that consumer is under pressure.”

The TPPF take: Progressive policies have decimated family budgets.

“Progressivism deserves much blame for today’s economic mess. This radical ideology has pushed the nation ever closer toward socialism, government largesse, and central planning—all of which have crushed the average American family’s budget,” says TPPF’s James Quintero. “What American consumers need most right now is a return to free markets and limited government.”

Voting Rights—and Wrongs

What to know: In what seems a rare event, a Florida man has been arrested in Kansas, accused of election fraud.

The TPPF take: This is a very rare occurrence—someone being prosecuted for voter fraud.

“District attorney’s offices simply have no interest in prosecuting election integrity offenses at all,” says Levi Fuller, an attorney with the Texas Attorney General’s Office and a member of TPPF’s Austin LLC chapter. “In fact, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office (one of six offices who filed briefs in favor of the taking independent prosecutorial authority away from the attorney general) has even used their non-enforcement of election laws as a basis to claim immunity in lawsuits seeking to overturn the Texas Election Integrity Act.”

Politicized Prosecutions

What to know: You know things are off the rails when Russia President Vladimir Putin is criticizing the politicized U.S. justice system for its corruption and “rottenness.”

The TPPF take: Politicized prosecutions are a poison to civil society—and a warning shot across the bow for all Americans.

“The broader effect of politicized prosecutions is clear — Americans are increasingly convinced we live in a nation with a two-tiered justice system,” says TPPF’s Robert Henneke. “This affirms what Americans learned from the prosecution of Trump for the alleged mishandling of classified documents, while Biden (like Hillary Clinton before him) got a pass for the same thing. And the list goes on.”
