James Quintero is the policy director for the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Government for the People campaign. Since joining the Foundation in 2008, Quintero has focused extensively on: state & local government spending, taxes, debt, public pension reform, annexation, and local regulations.

Shelby is a born-and-raised Texan from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Letters: Constitutional Emphasis, which is a combination study of philosophy, history, and literature on the U.S. Constitution and the Founding Fathers.

After graduation, Shelby followed her passion for law and returned to Texas to pursue her J.D. at Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth.

This November, voters in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex will consider an array of bond propositions, tax ratification elections, and other ballot questions that will greatly influence the direction of their communities.

Key points:

Voters will consider an assortment of different propositions in the upcoming November elections.
The bond propositions could allocate funds to a wide range of different areas, including schools, transportation, city facilities, and more.
Excluding constitutional amendments and candidate elections, 30 separate questions involving public money will be pitched to all Metroplex voters.
